About CITE

Community of Information and Technology Experts (CITE) is a non-profit volunteer group that aims to inform Singapore online users of their rights and responsibilities with the larger goal of encouraging greater use of the Internet.

CITE is supported by Asia Pacific Technology Law and Policy (CAPTEL) and Singapore Internet Research Center.

What We Do

We match legal and technology experts to people who need such assistance.

We also will conduct information sessions and provide articles through our website to educate and inform the public about their rights online.

We will also make submissions when the government requests for feedback and consultation.

What We Don’t Do

We are not a lobbying or an advocacy organisation. We are not a law firm, and we are not engaged in the practice of law.

How to Participate

We accept all volunteers who are willing and able to contribute.

We seeks to have more lawyers volunteer their time to provide their legal advice to online users. Technologists, academics and students are also welcome to contribute their expertise in aids of such cases.

Anyone interested can email CITE Secretariat at cite@captel.ntu.edu.sg
